Today a IMC 2023 event Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd showcased a satellite based giga fiber service, JioSpace Fiber which is said to be providing high speed broad band services in India. Reliance Jio is India’s first in doing so.

Akash said at India Mobule Congress 2023 that Reliance Jio has installed over 10 lakh 5Gcell across all 22 circles of India and developing a %cell every 10 seconds.

Jio has done partnership with SES for medium earth orbit (MEO) satellite tech to deliver Gigabit Fiber services from space for Jio Space Fiber.

Akash says India now ranks among the top three 5G-enabled nations, with over 125 million 5G users.
Indian talent have been behind the development , stacking and manufacturing for Jio 5G roll out.
He even added that the 5G coverage will lead to development and entrepreneurial opportunities to millions of Indians.
